DIGITAL SYSTEM SOLUTIONS TECHNOLOGY

WHY DIGITAL

Digital is not a catch word for us but a way of design cycle at DIGI-SYS. Our design team specialises in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and artificial intelligence and make the best use of these hi-tech solutions to perform difficult tasks with ease. Our USP is creating products with built in diagnostics and artificial intelligence to get more value for every dollar spent.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

Research and development is the key strength of our organisation. Cumulative design experience of our team runs over hundred years still we call our self a young company. Our design house is located in India and run by M/s Eastern Arts Pvt. Ltd. they follow strict ISO 9000 processes from the design to manufacturing stage.Every New things create After Research.

TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS

Our association with  semiconductor industry  leaders provide us means to be first in market with products with technological  breakthrough .We frequently use latest semiconductor devices from Texas Instruments, Analog Devices & ST Micro.

FEATURED PROJECTS

We supply and support Pro Audio products for distribution, switching, monitoring, master control, studio production, Audio visual Industry, digital production,  broadcasting, and in general for the communication industry.

HD Radio By broadcasting digitally over traditional radio waves, a single frequency is now capable of delivering up to four stations of content in crystal clear sound. All you do is tune in to your favorite station and your HD Radio receiver will automatically lock in to the HD1 signal for that station. One notch over on the dial and you’re listening to entirely new content on the HD2 station. Additionally the digital signal provides on-screen information such as: album art, song info, traffic and weather. It’s time for a smarter radio. HD Radio devices receive a digital signal over traditional radio waves and require no Internet connection or monthly fee. Enjoy HD Radio at home, on  road, and on the go. Our receivers are factory installed with top automakers and available from leading electronics brands. Select a category below to find the receiver that’s right for you.

DAB

Digital audio broadcasting (DAB), also known as digital radio and high-definition radio, is audio broadcasting in which analog audio is converted into a digital signal and transmitted on an assigned channel in the AM or (more usually) FM frequency range.Digital audio broadcast signals are transmitted in-band, on-channel (IBOC). Several stations can be carried within the same frequency spectrum. Listeners must have a receiver equipped to handle DAB signals. At the transmitting site, the signal is compressed using MPEG  algorithms and modulated using coded orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (COFDM). A digital signal offers several advantages over conventional analog transmission, including improved sound quality, reduced fading and multipath effects, enhanced immunity to weather, noise, and other interference, and expansion of the listener base by increasing the number of stations that can broadcast within a given frequency band.

DRM

DRM is the universal, openly standardised digital broadcasting system for all broadcasting frequencies, including the AM bands (LW, MW, SW), as well as VHF Bands I, II – (FM band) and III.DRM ensures the efficient and complete digitisation of those countries committing to the digital radio roll-out. The great flexibility of DRM supports all types of coverage needs – from local, regional, nation-wide to international.  DRM allows a seamless transition to digital radio with the upgrade of existing transmitter infrastructure as well as with analogue-digital simulcast configurations. DRM digital radio can save broadcasters up to 80% in energy and maintenance costs.DRM is the universal, openly standardised digital broadcasting system for all broadcasting frequencies, including the AM bands (LW, MW, SW), as well as VHF Bands I, II – (FM band) and III.DRM is greener, clearer, wider, bigger, better quality & audio content.

SFN is a network of transmitting stations that use the same frequency to transmit the same information. A Single Frequency Network is a means to extend the coverage area without the use of additional frequencies. This multipath immunity can be used to build a SFN with an overlapping network of transmitter stations which use the same frequency. In the areas of overlap, the weaker of the two signals is considered as an echo due to multipath reception. However, the echo has to fall within the guard interval and the stations must be synchronized. Hence, if two stations are far apart, the time delay between the two signals can be large and the system will need a large guard interval.

It was established in 1992 as a coordinating body at the international broadcasting level. Since then, the WBU has provided global solutions on key issues for its member unions. The North American Broadcasters Association (NABA) acts as secretariat for the WBU.The broadcasting unions who belong to the WBU are the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU), the African Union of Broadcasting (AUB), the Caribbean Broadcasting Union (CBU), the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the International Association of Broadcasting (IAB/AIR), and the North American Broadcasters Association (NABA).

Music is Central to Radio comprising 45% of our members by providing easy access to first class music and event through our music exchange. Members request around 25000 programmers from the  music exchange every year making  it is a cost effective way of sharing the world’s best music with audiences.with around 3000 concerts by both leading emerging artist shared every year this is the world largest offer of live music covering all genres from classical and opera to folk jazz world, rock ,pop and dance we provide access to prestigious concerts and performances from Venus across the globe to enrich the diversity and quality of broadcaster’s Music offer.

ABU

The Technology Department of the ABU undertakes wide range of activities addressing the current needs of the members. These activities are implemented by the Secretariat’s Technology Department. The ABU Technology Department continues to work closely with the WBU Technical Committee WBU-TC and WBU-ISOG group. Currently the major issues are spectrum, Integrated Broadband Broadcast, net neutrality, and the future of broadcasting. ABU Technology is working on the Digital Radio Handbook for WBU-TC.
